How would you compare the on-screen bridal looks in the films and those you have designed off of it?ĭesigning for films is basically costuming, so you are creating costumes for the characters and creating looks that make them and the story believable. You designed for Devdas and then over 2600 costumes for Jodhaa Akbar, to name a few. It is a collective effort which requires a very careful thought process and organisation on the part of each and every person on board for the film. The fact that the visual appearance on the screen is not the effort of one single technician.
